Taking inspiration from smoothed over river rocks and borrowing techniques used for boat building, the solid wood frame of the Francis Easy Chair is fluid with curves, round overs, and scallops. Its limbs congregate tightly in the chair profile, spinning outward, joined together with solid wood laminations that embrace the upholstered shells of the seat and backrest.
